Signing in to Claude Code and Codex
CodeRail uses the agents installed on each computer, signed in the way they already are. It never asks for or stores your Anthropic or OpenAI credentials.
Check what a computer has
On your site, open the computer: the agents it found are listed with their versions, and whether each is signed in. A computer needs at least one of:
The bridge finds them on the same PATH as your login shell, so if claude works in your terminal, CodeRail finds it too.
Sign in from CodeRail
If an agent isn't signed in, the computer's Owner can sign it in from the site, without going to the computer: choose Sign in next to the agent. CodeRail opens that agent's own sign-in in a terminal on the computer (claude auth login, or codex login --device-auth), and you follow its steps, usually opening a link and entering a code.
This needs the Owner role with terminal access, because the sign-in runs in a terminal on that computer.
Sign in on the computer
You can always sign in the usual way, in a terminal on the computer itself. CodeRail picks it up for the next session.
