Quickstart

From nothing to a session on your own computer, in about fifteen minutes.

What you need

  • A Cloudflare account (the free plan is enough to start; a domain of your own is optional).
  • A GitHub account (the button copies CodeRail there), or Bun to deploy from the command line.
  • On each computer you'll add: Claude Code and/or Codex installed. macOS 13 or later, or Linux.

1. Deploy the server

Deploy to Cloudflare

Click the button, enter a setup token (any long random string) when Cloudflare asks, and deploy. Then open your new site at /setup, enter the token, and create your admin account. The details, and the command-line way, are in Deploy your server.

2. Add a computer

  • Mac: on your site, go to Machines → Add a computer → Download for Mac, open the app and approve the code it shows. See Add a Mac.
  • Linux: run curl -fsSL https://your-site/install.sh | sh on it and approve the code. See Add a Linux computer.

You become the computer's Owner.

3. Start a session

Open the computer on your site, pick a folder and an agent, and send a message. When the agent wants to run a command or change a file, you'll see the request in the chat; allow or deny it.

If the agent isn't signed in on that computer yet, see Signing in to Claude Code and Codex.
