Changes and git
The Changes pane is the git view of the session's folder.
Changes
- Staged and unstaged files, untracked files included; open one to see its diff.
- Diffs split (side by side) or unified.
- Stage, unstage or discard a file, or all of them.
- Commit with a message, or amend the last commit.
Branches and history
- The current branch, and how far it's ahead of or behind its upstream.
- Switch branches, or create one.
- History: the commits, and each one's diff.
- Fetch, pull (fast-forward only) and push.
Pull and push use the computer's own git credentials: whatever already works in a terminal there.
Viewers can see changes, diffs and history; Operators and Owners can change things.
