Dev-server preview

Open a web app that runs on the computer (a dev server on localhost:3000, 5173, 8787...) in your browser, from anywhere, through your own server.

Open a preview

Open the Browser pane. It lists the dev servers listening on the computer, with their port and process; pick one. The page opens in the pane, or in its own tab.

It works for real apps: links, assets, cookies and WebSockets (so hot reload keeps working).

How it's private

Previews are served from your preview host (PREVIEW_HOST), a second hostname of your deployment, not from your site's own address. Opening one gives your browser a short-lived, signed pass for that computer and port; nobody without access to the computer can open it.

• Operators and Owners can open previews; Viewers can't.
• One browser shows one preview at a time; opening another switches it.
